Welcome to Library Service

The NHEC is at present implementing the following Public Libraries Program to meet the needs of the communities where its member and affiliated organizations are based. And these programs are also aiming at knowledge development in the ethnic nationality areas in Burma and for future democratic federal union of Burma.

The NHEC had been established the libraries since 2001 to provide opposition groups, ethnic groups, and migrants who are struggling for survival and future democratic federal union with knowledge and democracy principles.

If Burmese people residing in Thailand obtain a chance to study international democracy codes and democratic habits in other parts of the world, democracy movements around the world, and brutal power abuses of military regimes on their people, etc from resource centers and libraries, they will gain awareness on the political deadlock in homeland; their role in political transaction; losing their rights,   and participate in the eliminating dictatorship, restoring democracy, and forming federal union affords.
