There are a numbers of ways that you can help support the work of the National Health and Education Committee (NHEC) which is struggling to regain the human rights-especially the right to education and the right to health care and- to bring new vision and hope for education and health in Burma.

Supports of basic education and health Supplies:

Supports of basic education and health supplies are always in need. The Education Assistance Project (EAP) of NHEC has been distributing basic educational supplies, such as stationery materials and notebooks, for students and teachers in conflict zones, ethnic regions and Internally Displaced People’s areas of Burma. The Health Assistance Project (HAP) of NHEC has been distributing basic health supply, such as essential medicines and medical supplies for health workers and clinics in conflict zones, ethnic regions and Internally Displaced People’s areas of Burma. Project Support:

The NHEC is implementing health and education projects to meet the needs of the communities where its member and affiliated organizations are based. And these programs are also aiming at health and educational development in the ethnic nationality areas in Burma and for future democratic federal union of Burma. Political Support:

The people everywhere in Burma have been suffering from repressive military regimes. The military rule, abuse of human rights, lack of democracy, mismanagement and corruption have led Burma to become one of the least developed countries in the world. It is miserable to see that all ethnic nationalities are suffering social injustice and ethnic discrimination and have lost all basic civic rights including to the right to education and the right to health care. Please therefore support the struggle for freedom and democracy in Burma. You can support Burmese democracy movement by joining the activities of organizations working to promote human rights and democracy in Burma.
